Travis Olson is a director with a focus on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in construction disputes. He has more than seventeen years of experience in heavy civil and commercial construction encompassing major infrastructure projects including bridges, dams, water treatment facilities, light rail systems, and commercial high-rise construction. He has played integral roles in successful mediations and settlements, including a landmark dam raise project and a $374 million global settlement agreement on a major rail electrification project.

Mr. Olson’s background as a project manager and contractor includes direct oversight of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and steel scopes of work. He has extensive experience in project controls, cost reporting, labor productivity analysis, baseline scheduling, and claims processes. His estimating expertise includes lead roles on joint venture design-build proposals exceeding $2.9 billion, including a stay-cable bridge in California and complex light-rail projects throughout Hawaii and California.

Since 2018, Mr. Olson has provided construction dispute resolution services, specializing in the identification, analysis, and presentation of complex project impacts and their effects on project execution and completion. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (CA, OR, WA) and Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP).
