Thomas Fearis

Before joining BRG, Mr. Fearis was a senior business development executive at an elite US law firm in Hong Kong, where he led business development and marketing initiatives across APAC for the firm’s international arbitration, M&A and private equity, and corporate risk and government investigations practices. Prior to working in professional services business development and marketing, he trained as an arbitration lawyer at a pre-eminent set of international arbitration chambers in Hong Kong and at leading international law firms in London, Paris, and Perth.

Mr. Fearis earned a BA in political science (international relations) and Asian studies with distinction and an LLB from The University of Western Australia, with study abroad periods at the University of Helsinki and Université Paris Cité. He is qualified as a solicitor and barrister in Western Australia (non-practising). A triple Australian, British, and Irish national as well as permanent resident of Hong Kong, Mr. Fearis served as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student in Brazil and is conversant in French and Portuguese.
