Renee Osborne

Renee Osborne is an associate director in BRG’s Healthcare Transactions and Strategy practice.

She has ten years of experience in the healthcare sector and specializes in medical billing and coding and provider compliance.

Since joining BRG in 2016, Ms. Osborne has led compliance program effectiveness reviews, advised on compliance program development, facilitated enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments, performed coding and documentation audits, and developed and administered physician education. She has managed engagements including transaction due diligence, government investigations, payer disputes, and voluntary repayments. Her experience in medical billing and coding spans specialties including allergy and immunology, anesthesiology, dental and orthodontics, dermatology, DMEPOS (durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies), ophthalmology and optometry, physical therapy, skilled nursing (Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM)), radiology, urgent care, and urology.

Ms. Osborne is a Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), and Revenue Cycle Management Specialist (RCMS). She has a certificate in dental coding and is certified in healthcare compliance (CHC). She received a BS in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in healthcare administration (MHA) from the University of Scranton.
