Pedro Erdei-Gonzaga has over a decade of experience in complex antitrust matters across sectors such as finance, high technology, media, telecom, transport, retail and consumer services.

Pedro Erdei-Gonzaga is a director based in Brussels. He is an expert in managing antitrust projects involving advanced economic modeling, data analysis, documentary evidence review and in-depth research of economic literature. Skilled in explaining complex economic concepts in clear, accessible language, he has published widely on antitrust topics including vertical and horizontal mergers in innovative markets, vertical restraints in e-commerce, and tacit collusion and information exchanges in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). He has presented his work to private clients, regulators, policymakers, auditors and enforcers, both in private settings and at international conferences.

Dr. Erdei Gonzaga has over a decade of experience spanning economic consulting, public policy and academia. His prior roles include associate, competition expert at the OECD Competition Division, policy analyst, and academic researcher. He holds a PhD and postdoctoral degree in economics from the University of Porto.

Dr. Erdei Gonzaga speaks English, French and Portuguese, with knowledge of Spanish and Hungarian.
