Marc Rosenbaum

Managing Director of Business Development

Marc Rosenbaum brings a wide range of legal and business experience in both the private and government sectors gained over the course of his nearly forty-year career.

Mr. Rosenbaum began his legal career as an associate in the Litigation and Creditors Rights sections of the firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. He then served as an assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of New York. He then became a partner in a boutique litigation firm that included several former Wachtell, Lipton attorneys, and that specialized in commercial cases for such high-profile clients as AIG, Simon & Schuster, Goldman Sachs, and Cartier.

Mr. Rosenbaum was then tapped by New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani to clean up corruption, and develop business and jobs, at the former Brooklyn Navy Yard, which is controlled by the city of New York and run as an industrial park. He was credited with “bringing the Brooklyn Navy Yard back to life” by spearheading major infrastructure projects and attracting a diversity of businesses, including the establishment of the largest motion picture and television production studio in the United States outside of Hollywood.

Mr. Rosenbaum later served as first deputy general counsel and then general counsel to the New York City Off-Track Betting Corporation, which handled more than $1 billion in wagers annually. Most recently, he served on the team of an independent expert charged with monitoring a major international bank pursuant to a non-prosecution agreement with the US Department of Justice.

Mr. Rosenbaum’s professional background makes him particularly adept at assisting clients in identifying and selecting the most appropriate and effective experts to work on their matters.
