Karthik Chari is a director in BRG’s Corporate Finance practice. His expertise spans areas such as financial planning and analysis (FP&A), finance transformation, leveraged finance, and data-driven decision-making. He has advised sponsors and C-suite executives on strategic planning, systems integration, investor and board readiness, and merger and acquisition (M&A) activities.
Before joining BRG, Mr. Chari held senior leadership positions at Covetrus, a $5 billion global animal health company. As head of North America Finance, he led financial and operational transformations that enhanced reporting accuracy, drove expense management, and improved data integrity across the organization. As global head of FP&A, he transformed global profit and loss (P&L) and cash management processes, led restructuring initiatives, established investor reporting frameworks, and optimized budgeting and forecasting operations. These efforts drove process improvements and supported the company’s strategic initiatives.
Previously, Mr. Chari was a managing director at E78 Partners, heading the firm’s FP&A Consulting Services practice. He led consulting engagements and served in interim senior finance roles with a focus on investor reporting, data visualization, and debt capital markets advisory. His clients included sponsor-backed and publicly traded companies.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Chari held leadership positions at Accordion Partners and GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services, where he specialized in strategic and leveraged finance and guided sponsor-backed companies through complex M&A, capital markets, and financial consolidation.
