Joshua Galuska
Joshua Galuska, an associate director with BRG’s Health Analytics practice, provides consulting and data analytics services to healthcare and life sciences clients and their legal counsel.
Mr. Galuska leads and supports project teams on engagements involving pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device companies, pharmacy benefit managers, and health plan clients. His clients are often undergoing disputes, litigation, qui tam matters, or government investigations related to the False Claims Act (FCA), anti-kickback statute (AKS), regulatory compliance and reporting requirements, or allegations of off-label marketing and drug pricing/billing fraud.
Mr. Galuska is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and uses his technical expertise along with his detailed understanding of healthcare pricing, the healthcare supply chain, claims and reimbursement to provide sophisticated data-driven answers to complex questions for clients. Frequently, this includes developing data models that employ the use of a client’s internal data, various large public datasets, and third-party market data to consider the potential impact of particular allegations or strategic actions. These models have been used to support clients in litigation, disputes, and investigations to measure potential liability/exposure, support testifying experts, and negotiate settlements.
