Joseph Vizzini is a managing director in BRG’s Corporate Finance group and specializes in providing a wide range of advisory services in out-of-court restructuring, Chapter 11, and distressed company situations to both creditors and debtors.

Mr. Vizzini’s twenty years of experience have included assignments involving liquidity, business plan and capital structure assessment, restructuring/bankruptcy planning and strategy, negotiation and analysis related to asset/whole company sale transactions, reorganization plans, credit agreement amendments and settlements, and evaluation and analysis related to enterprise value and creditor recoveries.

Mr. Vizzini’s experience includes restructuring advisory services on complex cross-border matters in Canada, Europe, and Mexico; restructuring litigation-support services, including expert report preparation, acquisition, and divestiture transaction-related due diligence; claims adjudication; and estate wind-down implementation. Mr. Vizzini also has experience as a court-appointed receiver and as financial advisor to post-Chapter 11 liquidation trusts.

In addition to large public company cases, Mr. Vizzini has worked on numerous middle-market and private company matters across various industries and for various creditor constituents.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Vizzini was a managing director at Capstone Advisory Group, LLC, and prior to that was a restructuring advisor at the Policano & Manzo legacy practice of FTI Consulting. He began his career at Coopers and Lybrand, LLP, where he spent four years in the New Jersey audit practice, and then worked for a boutique accounting firm specializing in tax and financial planning.
