Jeff George is a managing director in BRG’s Forensic Accounting practice and is based in Colorado.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and Accredited Business Valuation professional with more than fifteen years of diverse investigative experience. An accomplished forensic accountant and expert witness, he specializes in calculating economic damages in commercial litigation. He has testified and been retained on a variety of cases, including:
- partnership disputes
- breach of contract
- theft of trade secrets
- lost profits and business interruption
- personal injury and wrongful death
- wrongful termination and wage and hour matters
Mr. George has investigated a variety of cases involving fraud, including employee dishonesty, embezzlement, Ponzi schemes, EB5, and other fidelity matters. Has worked with federal equity receivers, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). He has testified in state and federal court proceedings throughout the US. He also has specialized experience in cannabis valuations.
