Clint Woofter is a director in BRG’s Government Contracts practice.
He has over twenty-five years of progressive industry leadership experience in a highly regulated operating environment and provides a wide range of financial compliance advisory services for federal government contractors. He serves as a corporate subject-matter expert, bringing extensive knowledge on activities involving Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) across aerospace, defense, and civilian agencies.
Throughout his career, Mr. Woofter has demonstrated expertise in areas including external restructuring, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, cost accounting practice changes, and cost structure integration and consolidations. He works to maximize cost recovery within regulations, advocating for efficiency through modern tools, standard business processes, and maintaining government-approved business systems.
Before joining BRG, Mr. Woofter held positions as a Government Contracts partner in a national accounting firm and as vice president of Government Contracts Compliance for a top-ten government contractor. In these roles, he oversaw comprehensive and complex government accounting compliance activities, ensuring adherence to CAS, FAR, and other regulatory requirements.
