Asad Jafree leads BRG’s Financial Services practice for the Middle East region.
He has twenty years of advisory and consulting experience within the financial services industry and has advised many of largest and most sophisticated financial institutions and regulators in Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Mr. Jafree previously served in MENA for two multinational professional services firms, as principal director with the Financial Advisory Services practice and as a senior director. He has worked in the MENA region since 2006 and has advised leading investment banks and companies on projects including strategy, target market, and capital allocation. As part of his responsibilities, he has led the Financial Services Risk practice and advised clients in all industry segments on risk and capital management projects, including the largest MENA banks and central banks.
Mr. Jafree also founded Insignia Consulting, where he advised a leading MENA economy on creating a vision for its financial services industry and a financial-sector development plan. The work covered the banking sector and capital markets, and he presented to the International Monetary Fund during its Article IV consultation.
