Andrew Eckstein is a Managing Director at BRG and has fourteen years of finance and accounting experience, over the last eleven years focusing on buy- and sell-side due diligence transactions in the middle market (up to $1 billion).
He specializes in quality of revenue analyses, proof of cash assistance, cash to accrual conversion, and working capital projections/negotiations.
Mr. Eckstein has averaged more than forty deals a year, and his experience includes a portfolio of transactions in each industry. Within healthcare, his recent transactions include leading deal teams in the following subsectors: dermatology, eye care, dental, pain management, home health, home infusion, acute and urgent care facilities, behavioral health, medical supplies, nurse staffing, and physical and speech therapy. His exposure to a wide range of industries allows him to bring unique perspectives on deal issues that may arise.
As it relates to specific experience on sell-side diligence, before joining BRG, Mr. Eckstein worked at a national financial service advisory/investment banking firm, completing sell-side diligence on companies that the investment bank was taking to market. He understands the importance of assisting management during the sale process, which can be disruptive if not managed appropriately.
Mr. Eckstein’s professional experience also includes a Big Four audit group and TAS partner at a regional accounting firm, specializing in healthcare.
