Alessandro Greco is associate director in BRG’s Rome office. He has extensive experience in the economic regulation of transport and energy infrastructures, cost of capital estimation, due diligences of regulated assets for international infrastructure funds and public-service tenders.
Greco has experience in Italy and Europe across regulated sectors and has assisted the main Italian concessionaires of strategic infrastructures (airports, motorways, railways, gas and electricity grids, hydroelectric assets), as well as banks, investment funds and institutional entities.
Greco has also been involved in regulatory due diligence, offering specific experience in the assessment of regulated infrastructure revenues and possible regulatory scenarios, through the identification of risk and investment opportunities.
Previously, Greco worked for seven years in the Rome office of a leading economic consultancy. He holds an MSc in economics and social sciences from Bocconi University (Milan) and joined the permanent mission of Italy to the United Nations in New York as a junior adviser.
