Adil Khan specializes in providing financial due diligence services for strategic and private equity clients on acquisitions and divestitures, supporting clients in preparing businesses for sale, and advising throughout the M&A transaction lifecycle.

Adil Khan has over twenty-five years of experience serving as a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transaction adviser to companies globally. He specializes in providing financial due diligence services for strategic and private equity clients on acquisitions and divestitures, supporting clients in preparing businesses for sale, and advising throughout the M&A transaction lifecycle.

Mr. Khan has been involved with more than 150 buy- and sell-side transactions for more than fifty strategic corporate acquirers, private equity investors, and lenders. He has advised on transactions including stand-alone platforms; carveouts of business segments, product lines, or facilities, including assessment of stand-alone and stranded cost structures; transition services agreement (TSA) requirements; purchase sales agreement closing statements; purchase price dispute resolution; bankruptcy auction processes; and mergers and industry consolidations. In advising investors he has leveraged pre-transaction diligence insights to support client management teams in determining day-1 readiness, co-developing 100-day plans, and implementing post-deal performance improvement and value-creation initiatives.

Mr. Khan has advised companies ranging from startups to those with more than $50 billion in revenue across industries, with a focus on the aerospace and defense, automotive, and industrials sectors. He has worked with the world’s leading law firms and investment banks as a M&A advisor on a variety of matters.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Khan spent twenty-four years at KPMG US and six years at KPMG London.
