Prabhat Agrawal Joins BRG to Deepen Energy & Climate Bench in Asia-Pacific

BRG is pleased to announce that Prabhat Agrawal has joined as an associate director in the firm’s Energy & Climate practice based in Singapore.  

Mr. Agrawal is an engineer, economist and commercial advisor with over 23 years of experience in the energy sector, spanning technical, commercial and strategic roles. He has extensive expertise in planning and executing complex projects and conducting merger and acquisition (M&A) due diligence, asset valuations, financial modelling and risk assessment. Additionally, he has contributed to expert witness assignments across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, Middle East and United States.

“BRG’s experts and consultants are increasingly sought out in some of the region’s largest and most complex energy disputes and projects,” said Phillip Solomon, a managing director in BRG’s Energy & Climate practice in Singapore. “We are excited to welcome Prabhat to the team. His extensive experience will be a value-add to clients as we help them address issues across a rapidly evolving energy value chain.”  

Mr. Agrawal’s expertise includes energy resource development planning and commercial structuring; energy and financial market analysis, economic modeling and valuation opinions; energy facilities design, operations and cost estimation; oil and gas; carbon capture, transport and storage value chain modeling; greenhouse gas emissions estimation, benchmarking and abatement; and strategic advice for new business models and services. 

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Agrawal said, “I am thrilled to join BRG in its rapidly growing APAC region. I look forward to the opportunity to work with the talented teams in the disputes space and our global energy clients.” 

Before joining BRG, Mr. Agrawal worked in senior roles at leading oil and gas companies, focusing on oil and gas resource development and commercial advisory. He is a member of the Association of Energy Negotiators (AIEN).
