BRG News Item

BRG has placed fifth in the Global Arbitration Review Expert Witness Power Index 2025, which ranks the world’s foremost expert witness firms for arbitration based on volume and value of hearings alongside ‘reputational clout’ (as proxied by Lexology Index: Arbitration). BRG maintains its ranking from 2024 alongside a premium reputation among larger firms, with the research noting it “is more about quality than quantity”.

Year on year BRG has seen an improvement across several of the directory’s core metrics, including:

  • Average value of claim (for which BRG places second) up to $561.33 million from $466.04 million.
  • Total value of claims up to $30,873.13 million from $27,962.98 million.
  • Professionals in Lexology Index Arbitration rankings up to 26 from 21, with practitioners ranked as Global Elite Thought Leaders up to 8 from 5. The firm now has the joint-most thought leaders in the power index.

The news comes alongside numerous significant hires in this space over the last twelve months, including Manuel Abdala, Pablo Spiller and Michael Seelhof; energy-sector specialist Laura Hardin; and a team of construction delay experts in Aidan Coyne, John Fletcher and Sharon McGahey in Dubai.
