BRG Welcomes Mark Kilgore as Director in Construction Practice

BRG announced today the recent addition of Mark Kilgore as a director in its Construction practice. He brings over forty years of experience in construction management, design, and structural engineering for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. 

“As a longtime engineer and general contractor, Mark has a wealth of knowledge across the design and management of construction projects,” said Richard Fultineer, leader of BRG’s Global Construction practice. “His diverse skillset and experience are a valuable addition to our practice as we continue to bolster our capabilities.” 

Throughout his career, Mr. Kilgore has designed, analyzed, and built structures ranging from small residential projects to multistory commercial buildings. His construction development experience also includes build-to-suit, self-storage, and residential subdivision projects. 

“The combination of consulting and technical expertise that BRG’s Construction practice offers perfectly aligns with my client service goals,” said Mr. Kilgore. “I am excited to collaborate with my colleagues to provide full-scale support for our clients’ complex construction projects.” 

Following Superstorm Sandy in 2012, Mr. Kilgore also began working in forensic engineering. Since then, he has investigated catastrophic structural collapses, construction defect matters, and design professional liability issues throughout the United States. 

Mr. Kilgore earned his PhD from the University of Florida and his MS and BS from Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and a licensed General Contractor in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
