BRG Ranked as an Outstanding Economic Consultancy by Global Competition Review for 12th Consecutive Year
Global Competition Review (GCR) has recognized BRG as an “Outstanding” firm in GCR 100: Economics 2025, which ranks the world’s leading economic consultancies. This is the twelfth consecutive year BRG has been recognized for the important antitrust work our experts perform globally.
GCR noted that BRG’s significant recent expansion in Europe and beyond, with new offices in Brussels, Paris, Rome and Milan, has led to 24 BRG economists being recognized by Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal).
Notable economists including Adina Claici , Konstantin Ebinger , Laurent Eymard , Kai-Uwe Kühn , Aleksandra Boutin , Xavier Boutin and Cyril Hariton in Brussels; Jean-Gabriel Despeyroux in Paris; and Francesco Lo Passo and Marcella Fantini in Rome have joined the firm over the last 18 months. The team has a collective 54 years of experience working at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition, including Professor Kühn’s term as chief economist. He was named Who’s Who Legal’s Economist of the Year in 2023.
David Parker joined BRG’s existing London team of Greg Harman , Dante Quaglione and Mark Bosley in January 2024; the practice has since been bolstered with six new associate directors to ensure capacity to handle the full range of antitrust and competition litigation matters. Renowned economist Liberty Mncube , former deputy chairperson of the South African Competition Tribunal and chief economist of the Competition Commission, recently joined the firm in Johannesburg. This follows the arrivals of David Evans , head of BRG’s platform economy and digital markets group, and Rosa Abrantes-Metz , a Lexology Index Thought Leader.
GCR noted that BRG “is particularly well placed to engage in digital economy matters” and “has been particularly active on the litigation and investigations fronts.”
BRG Vice Chairman David Sunding said, “I am delighted that our outstanding talent and remarkable growth are once again being recognized in this prestigious ranking. Competition and antitrust are in the firm’s DNA, and we are excited to continue on this trajectory.”
