BRG Adds Grant Mendeljian as Director in Construction Practice

BRG announced the recent addition of Grant Mendeljian as a director in its Construction practice. He has been involved in over $3 billion of constructed projects across his more than 25-year career. He will provide expertise to project owners, developers, contractors, designers, municipalities, and their counsel on matters including strategic planning, estimating, procurement, on-site operational execution, project auditing, and construction disputes.

“Grant’s extensive experience and track record across all aspects of general contracting are a rare advantage for his clients,” said Jeffrey M. Wentz, a managing director in the firm’s Construction practice. “From organizational strategy to project planning and on-site execution, Grant will be an invaluable resource for a range of clients throughout the construction lifecycle.”

Mr. Mendeljian has been involved in a wide variety of construction projects, from commercial, healthcare, and high-rise residential and office towers; to education, hospitality, airports, and senior living; to stadiums and sports facilities, retail, laboratory research and development, wood-frame multifamily, and more.

Mr. Mendeljian has been engaged in over $24 billion worth of projects, notably with project planning and estimating. He has worked on project delivery and procurement matters including traditional design–bid–build, design–build, lump sum, GMP/GMAX, reimbursable, target cost, and public–private partnerships. 

Mendeljian earned his BS in construction management from Michigan State University. He is a credentialed Project Management Professional.
