April 27, 2021
Ignatius Grande moderated the panel, which addressed how social media is increasingly an issue in criminal investigations and how prosecutors can use content posted on social media and geolocation data to bring indictments against defendants.
Panelists discussed how the government brought cases against individuals involved with the insurrection at the Capitol; and other well-known matters where social media information has been used to support a criminal prosecution, including the Occupy Wall Street case.
