On March 6, Jenny Ma will join a breakout session on “Product Recall: Managing the Process and Preparing the Insurance Claim” with Gretchen Hoff Varner (Covington & Burling LLP) and Jamison Narbaitz (Atheria Law). The session will cover best practices and lessons learned from managing product recalls and claims, focusing on building the right team of experts, public relations, and regulatory issues that can impact the insurance process.

On March 7, Stephen Moseley will take part in the roundtable “Keys to a Successful Business Interruption Claim” with Haley Hinton-Casper (Barnes & Thornburg LLP). The presenters will discuss five keys to a successful claim: pre-loss insurance policy assessment, proactive claim development, preparing a convincing claim, strategic claim management, and thoughtful dispute resolution steps.

Also on March 7, Holly Dethero will join the roundtable “Navigating Business Interruption Claims in the Hospitality Industry: Key Issues and Insights” with Benjamin Tievsky (Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP). The presenters will review best practices for handling complex legal and accounting issues in hospitality claims, including key policy provisions, coverage issues, and using historical trends, internal reports, and industry data to calculate business interruption claims and resolving common disputes.
