Interview Preparation Guide

The interview process
Our interview process is designed to identify candidates with the right mix of performance skills, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit. Our goal is to find individuals who are organized, deadline-oriented, and able to work effectively in teams, as well as those who bring valuable technical skills. The specific format may vary based on the role you apply for, but you can generally expect a combination of:

  • Virtual interviews: Teams may have an initial screening call to discuss your background and skills, or host other virtual interviews throughout the process ensuring alignment with BRG’s values and position requirements.
  • Campus interviews: For applicants currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, BRG representatives may conduct on-site interviews during the recruiting season, focusing on selected candidates.
  • In-person interviews: Your on-site interviews are often the final stage in the process and may include up to three thirty-minute interviews, typically focused on technical skills and behavioral aspects. This gives us a well-rounded view of your fit for the team.
  • Super Day: Fall associates may have a first-round interview followed by an invitation to an in-office Super Day consisting of interviews with different team members to evaluate your technical and performance skills.

After each round of interviews, our hiring teams convene to assess candidates holistically, aiming to extend offers to those who bring both expertise and a drive to make an impact at BRG.
